Going to the market with Milka is a different experience - she asks LOTS of questions. And takes lots of pictures when I would be reluctant to do so ... so much confidence, as all that have met her will appreciate.
We took photos of objects we could not transport home ( and wouldn't want to really) -
Piranhas - they make keyrings out of the heads .... YUK . There are 3 types of piranhas - this is a white piranha - it's lower jaw is longer and it has spots on the body.
We've only seen the one artisan market area - above the river- not as prolific as Cusco .... yet! But I'm sure you'll recognise it ... similar!!!
