Oops - I missed a day!

How could I forget Mike's birthday - sorry Mike.  What a long day it turned out to be.  We were still finishing dinner at the Afrigonia restaurant just after midnight - so we celebrated the beginning of Mike's birthday.

Surprises continued on the truck for Mike's birthday - Marika and Ritchie had put together a play list  .... of birthday songs for the day.  We all loved that - especially Mike.

Lunch was a road-side event - out in the middle of nowhere!!  And a delicious black forest cake - also thanks to Marika and Ritchie.

Rest of the day was spent driving - arriving in El Calafate late afternoon.  Group dinner at La Tablita - a Patagonian Parilla - grill!!  Lex and I shared Patgonian lamb - served on a grill and still cooking.  Best lamb I've ever eaten.

.... and another birthday cake for Mike!!! in the restaurant.  What a day!!!

Finished our meal with Calafate ice cream - delicious.
